Starting at low prices, AutoBuffy stocks multiple alignment camber bolt assortments from top OE-quality brands. Camber bolts are eccentric or slotted fasteners that replace standard strut-to-knuckle bolts, allowing you to dial in negative or positive camber. Without them, a vehicle with worn or bent suspension geometry runs uneven tire wear, pulls to one side, and fails alignment specs.
The key decisions are how much camber correction you need, whether the bolts fit your strut flange thickness, and whether you want a bolt-only kit or a full assortment with eccentric washers and hardware included. More correction range is not always better — using more offset than the suspension geometry allows can bind the strut or reduce caster. Match the degree of correction to your actual alignment readings.
| Option | Best for | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Small-offset assortment (approx. ±1.0°–1.5°) | Mild camber correction after minor suspension wear or lowering under 1 inch | Eccentric bolts with narrow offset range; easier to fine-tune; less stress on strut slots |
| Medium-offset assortment (approx. ±1.5°–2.5°) | Moderate lowering, aftermarket coilovers, or vehicles with known factory camber limitations | Wider adjustment window; typically includes multiple bolt diameters to fit various strut flanges |
| Large-offset assortment (approx. ±2.5°–3.5°+) | Aggressive lowering, track or performance builds, or heavily modified suspension | Maximum correction range; requires careful installation to avoid binding; often sold as a heavy-duty bolt set |
| Full hardware assortment kit | Shops or DIYers servicing multiple vehicles or replacing all strut fasteners at once | Multiple bolt sizes, eccentric washers, cam bolts, and locking nuts — covers a wide range of makes and applications |
Remove the wheel, spray the existing strut-to-knuckle bolts with penetrating oil, and mark their position before breaking them loose — this gives you a reference point if you need to return to near-stock camber. Slide the new eccentric bolts through the strut flange, position the cam washer, and snug the hardware finger-tight so the eccentric can still rotate. Drive immediately to an alignment shop; the technician will rotate the bolts to dial in the correct camber and then torque everything to the manufacturer's specification before locking the adjustment in place.
