Why Davico

Davico Manufacturing is a family-owned catalytic converter and exhaust specialist operating out of New Bedford, Massachusetts since 1987. Davico builds one of the industry's largest cataloged offerings: more than 4,000 direct-fit catalytic converters, 200 universal converters and 500+ direct-fit exhaust products, engineered to meet US EPA emissions requirements with CARB-compliant options for California-rule states. The company backs its EPA converters with a 25,000-mile catalyst warranty and 5-year/50,000-mile shell warranty, and supports installers with deep diagnostic resources - including its insistence that P0420/P0430 root causes be fixed before a converter is replaced.

Who makes Davico catalytic converters?
Davico Manufacturing, a family-owned company in New Bedford, Massachusetts, has built catalytic converters and exhaust products since 1987. It manufactures direct-fit and universal converters in the USA for professional installers.
What warranty do Davico converters carry?
For US EPA converters, the catalyst is warranted for 25,000 miles from installation against defects that would cause EPA reduction-requirement failure, and the shell, pipes, flex sections and flanges for 5 years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. Proper installation on a mechanically sound engine is required.
Are Davico converters CARB compliant?
Davico produces both US EPA-compliant converters for federal-emissions states and CARB-compliant converters for vehicles registered in California and other states following CARB rules. Always match the converter's compliance type to your state's registration requirements.
Why did my check-engine light come back after a converter replacement?
Usually because the underlying engine fault wasn't fixed. Davico stresses that P0420/P0430 'below efficiency' codes are often caused by misfires, coolant/oil contamination or exhaust leaks - conditions that will destroy a new converter too. Fix the root cause first; converter damage from unresolved engine problems isn't covered under warranty.
What does Davico specialize in?
Davico is a dedicated exhaust and emissions manufacturer: direct-fit catalytic converters, universal converters, CARB-compliant converters and direct-fit exhaust products, with the largest cataloged direct-fit converter offering in the industry.
