Visit our Help Center
Who makes UAC parts?
UAC parts come from Universal Air Conditioner, an independent Texas company founded in 1988 that specializes exclusively in automotive air conditioning and climate control. Products are manufactured in Asia to UAC's OE-quality specifications.
What warranty do UAC parts come with?
UAC-made products carry a 1-year warranty from day of purchase against defects in material or workmanship, with replacement to the original purchaser at no charge. Claims require proof of purchase and written notice within 30 days of discovering a defect; the remedy is replacement or credit, not cash refunds.
Are UAC compressors as good as OEM?
UAC engineers its compressors, condensers and evaporators to OE quality with exact-fit specifications, and its new compressors are built to meet OE performance. Proper installation matters: UAC's warranty requires system flushing, evacuation and correct refrigerant charge, the same procedures OE service manuals demand.
What does UAC specialize in?
Automotive A/C and climate control only: compressors and clutches, condensers, evaporators, heater cores, blower motors, accumulators/driers, expansion valves and orifice tubes, hoses, switches and cooling fan assemblies, plus complete A/C repair kits.
Why do shops choose UAC for A/C repairs?
UAC pairs one of the broadest A/C catalogs in the aftermarket with express warehouses in five states for same-day shipping, making it a one-stop source for complete A/C jobs at prices well below dealer parts.
