AutoBuffy Officially Launches ACDelco® Products
AutoBuffy is now licensed by General Motors to display the full ACDelco® catalog — the same parts brand that comes pre-installed in every new Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac. OE specs, OE warranty, dealer-grade fitment, direct online prices.
Today, AutoBuffy is officially licensed by General Motors to display the ACDelco® parts catalog online — direct from GM. The full catalog goes live on autobuffy.com in June 2026.
This isn't a third-party catalog. It isn't scraped data. It's the same product information GM uses internally, soon to power ACDelco lookups on autobuffy.com.
First — Let's Clear Something Up
Most people hear "ACDelco" and think *aftermarket replacement parts*.
That's only half the story.
ACDelco is GM's complete service parts brand — both the parts that came pre-installed in your vehicle at the factory AND the OE-quality replacement parts GM dealers install during warranty service. When you take a 2024 Silverado to a Chevrolet dealer for an oil change, the filter going in is ACDelco. When a GMC tech replaces a sensor on a Sierra under warranty, that sensor is ACDelco. When a Cadillac CT5 rolls off the assembly line in Lansing, the spark plugs, battery, brakes, and dozens of other components are ACDelco.
It is the GM brand. Not "like" the GM brand. The GM brand.

A Brand That Predates Most Car Companies
Here's a fact most people don't know.
The "AC" in ACDelco comes from Albert Champion, who founded the AC Spark Plug Company with Buick Motor Company in 1908. The "Delco" comes from Dayton Engineering Laboratories Co., founded by Charles Kettering and Edward Deeds in 1909 — Kettering being the man who invented the electric self-starter.
Two companies. Both predate Ford's Model T as a mass-market success. Both became part of General Motors. Eventually merged into the brand we know today.
That's over 115 years of continuous heritage in building parts for American cars and trucks.
The ACDelco Tiers Most People Don't Know About
ACDelco isn't a single product line. It's three:
- ACDelco GM Original Equipment — the parts pre-installed at the factory on new GM vehicles. The literal source.
- ACDelco Gold (Professional) — OE-spec replacement parts. Manufactured to the same engineering standards as the OE part. What dealerships install for warranty work and what techs trust for repair jobs.
- ACDelco Silver (Advantage) — Quality-tier replacement parts engineered for value, with coverage for older GM vehicles and broader applications.
What makes that ladder unusual: most replacement brands start in the aftermarket and work their way *toward* OE specs. ACDelco moves the other direction — it starts at the GM assembly line, and the same engineering DNA carries down through the Gold and Silver replacement tiers. That's a meaningful difference, and it shows up in the fit, the materials, and the warranty backing.
Plus GM Genuine Parts
ACDelco isn't GM's only OE service brand. Many of the parts launching on AutoBuffy are branded as GM Genuine Parts — GM's other OE line, used heavily across collision and powertrain replacement components. Different label, same source: GM.
When you search a GM application on AutoBuffy, you may see both ACDelco and GM Genuine Parts in the results. Both are GM. Both are OE. We surface them exactly as GM catalogs them.
Manufactured by the Same Companies that Supply GM's Factories
This is the part that surprises people most.
ACDelco doesn't run a single factory making everything in-house. ACDelco contracts with the same Tier-1 suppliers that GM uses for original equipment — companies like Bosch, Denso, Continental, Mahle, and Delphi. The brake pad on your factory-fresh Tahoe might come from the same production line as the ACDelco Gold brake pad in the box you buy as a replacement.
That's why the fit is identical. Because the part is identical.

The Story Behind the Brand
From the Founder
"Adding ACDelco brings real value to our customers. It gives them the option to put on their car the same brand GM installed at the factory — a brand with over a century of proven performance on the road, backed by the engineering and warranty that GM stands behind.
That's our goal at AutoBuffy: bring people the brands they've already trusted on their cars for decades. Brands that have earned their reputation through real success, real durability, and real time on the road. Not generic replacements. Not private-label gambles. The brands that have proven themselves by lasting.
General Motors has been a great team to work with — and we're just getting started."
— Chetan Chadha, Founder & CEO, AutoBuffy
What This Means for You
Trust. The fitment, specs, images, and warranty information come from GM's source — not assembled from scraped data or best-guess crosswalks.
Accuracy. No more "fits 2014–2018" when GM's data says 2015–2017. We use source data, so what we show you is what GM says.
Coverage. From a 1998 K1500 to a 2024 Silverado EV, from a CTS-V to a Trax — if it's GM-built, the catalog supports it.
Honest pricing. Dealer-grade parts at non-dealer prices, shipped fast, with real fitment confidence behind every order.
For shops. Wholesale-friendly catalog access, a fitment engine designed for the way a tech actually works, and direct access to OE-grade brands like ACDelco at honest prices. If you run a shop and want early access to wholesale terms, reach out — we want to build this with the people doing the work.
Built on Our Own Technology
AutoBuffy pairs OE brands like ACDelco with our own AI fitment engine, built in-house. That's why we can ingest a catalog this size in less than a week instead of years, and why the fitment you see is more accurate than third-party feeds. The catalog is the product; the technology is what makes it usable.
Launching June 2026
The full ACDelco catalog goes live on autobuffy.com in June 2026. When it does, you'll be able to plug in your vehicle, search for the part you need, and the catalog you'll see will be the GM catalog — surfaced the way it was meant to be presented.
If you drive a GM-built vehicle, this one's for you. If you run a shop that works on GM vehicles every day, this one is *definitely* for you.
